  • Solve problems in multiple path d.c. circuits
  • Fix and secure equipment
  • Use drawings, diagrams, schedules and manuals
  • Lay wiring and terminate accessories for extra-low voltage circuits
  • Document occupational hazards and risks in electrotechnology
  • Troubleshoot frequency dependent circuits
  • Assemble and set up basic wired and wireless security systems
  • Install large wired and wireless security systems
  • Enter instructions and test basic wired and wireless security systems
  • Program and test large wired and wireless security systems
  • Program and commission commercial security alarm systems
  • Program and commission commercial security access control systems
  • Program and commission commercial security closed circuit television (CCTV) systems
  • Maintain documentation
